This is the first of a number of upcoming events in which I will be participating. When I take a longer break from painting, I will set up a more complete section to the left and add the others.
In the interest of full disclosure and modesty, I need to be sure that I make clear: NONE of the details in the poster are from any of my work, although I will have a painting included in the exhibit ("And Then There were Two", which appears in the left column of my blog). I actually only know who painted the work that included the swan - that one is by Colleen Hilzinger, of Royal Oak, Michigan, who is the president of the Birmingham Society of Women Painters. Wait. I will guess that the cherry blossoms, second from the right, are by Sherry Adams Foster. I have one of her marvelous poured paintings over my fireplace (she was nice enough to be willing to trade for one of mine! Imagine that!
What a beautiful show this will be. Good luck!
